Invitation Inspiration – Fabricadabra

When we think of wedding invitations, we typically start dreaming about papers -  metallics, vellums, cardstocks, etc. Why not consider fabric in addition to, or instead of, paper?

These lovely invites are enclosed in a fabric “envelope.”

If you’re having a vintage wedding, you might consider replicating these vintage handkerchief invitations by Bird and Banner.

Here the invitation details are printed on a simple piece of linen. You could then attach the linen to a pretty piece of cardstock, or mail it as-is.

At Blue Magpie, printed invitations are inserted into fabric enclosures.

In Quotations

There is nothing nobler or more admirable than when two people who see eye to eye keep house as man and wife, confounding their enemies and delighting their friends. — Homer
