Update on The Box
I’ve started adding items to The Box. A few trial-sized samples I’ve received, a floating candle, some recipe booklets from Taste of Home, Twining’s Earl Grey tea, Cranberry Moro Orange soap from Upper Canada Soap, etc. The Box isn’t even 1/4 full yet, so be sure to enter the giveaway and check back for more updates! |
Burt’s Bees Natural Acne Solutions
I recently received some new Burt’s Bees products to try out, courtesy of BzzAgent. They sent me the new Natural Acne Solutions cleanser and spot treatment. I used the cleanser for about two and a half weeks and I have to say that I didn’t really notice any difference between it and the (mostly) natural soap I was already using. Since I wasn’t really noticing a difference, and I usually only have break-outs once a month anymore, I passed it on to one of my sisters. We’ll see if it does wonderful and amazing things for her skin. The spot treatment seems to work well. It’s not a miracle treatment by any means, but I used it about four or five times over the past several weeks and it appeared to dry up my inflammations pretty quickly. All-in-all, I’m pretty pleased with the product, though I think I’ll stick with my less expensive bar of soap for general facial cleansing purposes. But I’ll be holding onto my bottle of spot treatment. That’ll be nice to have next summer for last-minute flare-ups before the wedding. (You can get a free sample of the spot treatment from Burt’s Bees.) |
