Better than Bouquets
Creative brides all over the country are opting to skip the traditional flower bouquets in favor of more unique or “personalized” options. There are plenty of options if you’re willing to step outside the box. Try fans, purses, parasols, Christmas ornaments, pinwheels, lanterns, candles, or peacock feathers. If you’re getting married in the winter, perhaps you and and your ‘maids will want to use muffs to keep your hands warm. If you still want a bouquet, but want to try something a little different, why not look into paper flowers, or a button bouquet. You could also make a bouquet out of silk butterflies, wired crystals, or solid-colored ornaments. Do some internet searches and see what you can find. If you’re planning to carry (or have your bridesmaids carry) something other than a traditional flower bouquet, I’d love to hear about it!
