We need your votes!
Yep, we’ve done it again. Found another wedding contest that is (partially) based on votes. We have to make it into the top 50 to be considered, so we have a long way to go and not much time. This contest is for a dream wedding, sponsored by Crate & Barrel. Runners-up will receive C&B gift cards – quite nice for furnishing a new home. If you’d like to vote for us, we’d appreciate it. One vote per person. http://www.ultimateweddingcontest.com/entries/30584 If you want to hit the “share” button to help us spread the word on Facebook, that would be great. Thank you sooo much for all your love and support for us. (Oh, and stay tuned for the save-the-dates update. They’ll be in the mail in a day or two!) |
Thank you!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, everyone who voted for us in the free wedding photography contest hosted by Ruffled Blog. Michael and I were the winning couple, with a 21-vote lead. We won an incredible photography package by the amazingly talented Caroline Ghetes. What a generous gift! What a huge blessing. Not only do I love Caroline’s work, but she’s a Christian who believes that God comes first in her life, then her family, and then photography. It was important to me to have a Christian photographer, so this is fabulous. I definitely encourage y’all to check out Caroline’s work. It’s beautiful. |
Vote for us!
Michael and I were selected as one of the three finalists in the Ruffled Blog/Caroline Ghetes Free Wedding Photography contest. One winner will be determined based on the number of votes received. We would greatly appreciate your help. You can vote for us by leaving a comment here (only one vote per person/IP address). Thank you! |
Win a wedding at the top of the Empire State Building!
Christmas, Valentine’s Day, weddings, the Empire State Building . . . is anyone else thinking Sleepless in Seattle? This is no movie, though. This is real-life. The Knot has teamed up with the Empire State Building (yes, the landmark) to offer one bride and groom the wedding of their dreams – on the top of the Empire State Building! Additionally, thirteen more couples will also have the chance to tie the knot inside the building. Wow! The ceremonies won’t take place on Valentine’s Day, but they will be held on Valentine’s Day weekend. Go pop in Sleepless in Seattle (or perhaps An Affair to Remember) and start writing your entry. Maybe you’ll be the next leading lady at the top of the Empire State Building.
